Chest Seal

Our ventilated chest seal is used in emergency situations in the event of a lung injury or pneumothorax. The chest seal is a special dressing that is applied to the wound to prevent air from entering the chest cavity and reduce pressure on the lungs. At the same time, the integrated valve allows air that has already entered to escape. The Chest Seal consists of an adhesive film that is airtight and waterproof. It is applied directly to the wound and forms a barrier that prevents air from entering the chest. This reduces the pressure on the lungs and makes breathing easier. The use of a chest seal requires specialist knowledge and should be carried out by trained medical personnel or first aiders. It is important to follow the instructions carefully in order to achieve the best possible effect.
