New in the program: QinFlow blood warmer

The modular product lines from QinFlow

Integrated high-performance solutions for warming blood and IV fluids for the entire emergency care sector

Hypothermia is a serious threat to patients and especially to casualties as it can trigger the deadly “triad of death”, a vicious cycle of hypothermia, acidosis and coagulopathy that can occur even in warm climates. Blood products that are stored cold become the standard of pre-hospital care and must be warmed to prevent hypothermia.

The infusion of blood and intravenous fluids at body temperature is complicated: In prehospital care, current warming devices cannot generate enough energy to meet clinical needs. In hospitals, current solutions are not portable (to accompany patients during inter- and intra-hospital transportation) and are often complicated to use, requiring time-consuming set-up and dedicated – well-trained – staff.

– Exceptionally fast: all Warrior configurations reach the set temperature within seconds

– Unrivaled performance: the only battery-powered solution that can heat near-frozen liquid/blood from KVO up to 200 ml/min

– Unique bolus flow handling: unique ability to keep up with fast bolus flow infusers

– Power source flexibility: AC and battery operation, enables continuous heating during transportation between and within facilities

– Simple operation: simplified training measures; human error is eliminated by design

– State-of-the-art, safe heating technology: aluminum-free, dry heating technology

– A single consumable: the same consumable for all Warrior configurations and clinical protocols

– Virtually no maintenance: 5 years between maintenance cycles; no regular calibration required

– Unique offering for the continuum of emergency care: The same consumable can be used across the continuum of emergency care, simplifying patient handoffs between emergency facilities and reducing costs

– Affordable consumables: cost-effective design of consumables
